The company's business concept
POWUNIT AS will develop, customize and produce decentralised energy solutions, and H2 as a Central energy carrier. Among the market segments below we will be dynamic and attentive in order to strive to be able to supply the highest market demand at any given time.
Initial market focus
POWUNIT – Construction Energy will the main product aimed at the construction industry supporting the goal for «fossil free construction sites», getting rid of diesel generators.
POWUNIT – Farm Power; The same potential we see in farming in general, including food production green houses, Hydroponics and vertical farming.
Future market opportunities
POWUNIT -Aqua Culture Energy. The company also sees an exciting potential in Fish Farming & Aqua Culture industry and on a general basis all business areas, which benefit from conventional (diesel) aggregates.
POWUNIT – Disaster energy; The same potential we see in farming in general, including food production green houses, Hydroponics and vertical farming.
POWUNIT Leisure. Secondly, leisure time (boats, motorhomes, cabins) and the hydropower industry are defined as secondary target groups.

The company’s foremost internal competence is today, primarily, related to strategic business development, relationship building and commercialization. The company’s team are keenly interested in H2 based, hybrid energy solutions. We believe in hydrogen, as a vital energy carrier, to succeed in bringing clean energy solutions to off-grid locations. We also believe that hydrogen is the most efficient energy carrier suitable for optimizing renewable energy solutions on a large scale, as this becomes a more dominant source of energy.
POWUNIT AS - Owner structure
POWUNIT AS will be a holding company of several SPV`s, which are planned to be established in the Nordic region as we grow the market in the region.
The owners of POWUNIT AS are today distributed among the two partners and entrepreneurs (Arne Dahl and Øivind Gunnufsen) through the Company North2Power AS.
Partners
POWUNIT AS has established a partnership agreement with Ostermeier – Hydrogen Solutions GmbH and Infener AG. Infener AG is considered to be one of the more innovative and fast growing players in the hydrogen space in Europe. Infener AG will through Infener Nordic, have the same focus on decentralised energy solutions based on H2 as energy carrier, and will also be an important part of POWUNIT’s partner Network.
Kongsberg Innovation is a co-owner of POWUNIT and also an important partner based on the company’s extensive expertise in technology and business development.
The company is a partner with Norsk Hydrogenforum, OREEC and NCE Smart Energy Markets.
Zero is an environmental foundation that supports zero-emission energy solutions. POWUNIT has entered into a partnership with Zero, which will contribute with expertise about hydrogen and climate.
(POWUNIT has a agreement with the EES. The EES is a company specializing in battery technology and electronics for monitoring and control. The company can assist our development with relevant equipment and expertise.)
